The long Holiday break is over. The days of oversleeping, staying up late partying, going to the beach and having so much time to spend everything you want is finally over. The house-school-grounded for nightout- routine is back. But hey, going back to school can be exciting. You can chat with your classmates and friends about your holiday vacation. I bet your friends will love to hear them.

Now the important thing is not to feel pessimistic in coming to school because it will affect everything. Do not worry about the work load because you are now recharged, so full of energy. You can do everything that your teacher will give you. If you can’t help feeling sick or anxious though it is just a normal reaction, you can start by doing things that you enjoy. Exercising and eating well can help too. It may also help to remember you are not alone. It is likely that other people have similar feelings as you.

To make things easier here are some suggestions you can take:

  1. Set some goals you want to get done for a week
This is a good way to get you motivated. Think of things you want to achieve. These might be school related. For example, to get good marks in your subjects, get your thesis done, or borrow the book you haven’t have the chance to read or you might want to achieve personal goals. Whatever it is just set goals that can keep you feeling positive.
  1. Get Involved
One way to make going back to school easy is to become involved in activities that interest you. This will make you meet people whom you have things in common. You can join the sports club, music club, Dance Club, Theatre and Debating Club or join the Student Body Council. This will make your day hype and exciting. Lastly
  1. Have something to look forward to
It is helpful to plan ahead so that you can have something you can look forward to. It will make you excited and happy. You may want to catch up with friends after school or plan to do something special over the weekend. And most importantly there are still many Holidays to look forward to!

No matter what you do and how you do it. Bear in mind that the best thing to make going to school easier is to express yourself. So, go up, play in the sun and treat this day as a Holiday vacation with your friends at school!
